Clubs after Lukas Podolski signature

A series of clubs have expressed interst in signing Arsenal's out of favor German striker Lukas Podolski. The possible arrival of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema threatens to push him further down the pecking order at the Emirates stadium. 

The German is keen on playing first team football this season to boost his chances of selection for Germany next summer in the world cup.


Podolski has been played out of position this season, playing on the left of a three pronged attack. 


Schalke, Wolfsburg and Galatasaray have all enquired about the availability of the German international, and is thought to cost in the region of £8m.


Podolski has appeared 34 times in the league for Arsenal last season, scoring 11 in the process.
