Jose Mourinho expects Willian to choose Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that the Brazilian forward Willian has chosen the Blues over fellow London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Jose Mourinho, Chelsea have successfully scuppered the deal which would take Willian to Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £30m from Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala.


Mourinho had expressed that Willian had made up his mind, but he did not reveal as to whether the club was Chelsea.

He told reporters : "[Whether Willian has chosen Chelsea] is a good question because I think he's already made his decision,


"I don't like to speak before time because football can betray you.

"That's the danger of medicals before contracts. We have to do a medical."

The transfer is scheduled to be concluded in the next few days.
