Ajax reject Atletico Madrid's transfer offer for Tony Alderweireld

Ajax have reportedly rejected a transfer offer from La Liga side Atletico Madrid for their Belgian defender Toby Alderweireld, according to talkSPORT.

The Belgian International has been associated with a switch to a number of Premier League clubs this summer, which include Everton, Liverpool, Norwich City and Tottenham Hotspur.

According to a report from talkSPORT, Los Colchoneros have now made a bid  in the region of £6.4m, which has been rejected by the Eredivisie champions.

Toby Alderweireld has also been linked with moves to Zenit St Petersburg and Spartak Moscow this summer.
