Arsenal to plot move for Chelsea star Juan Mata?

Arsenal are reportedly set to make a bid for Chelsea's sensational midfielder Juan Mata, according to The People. 

The Blues are reportedly closing in on the signing of Willian from Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala, and this could well place the talented Spaniard below the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. 

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was interested in acquiring Mata's services during the summer of 2011, but the Blues signed the 25-year-old for a fee of €30m from La Liga side Valencia.


According to The People, the Gunners may try to lure the Spanish International to the Emirates by offering a tempting bid to the Blues.
