Ki Sung-Yeung to join Sunderland on loan deal
Sunderland will this weekend wrap up a loan deal to sign South Korean international star Ki Sung-Yeung. The midfielder is free to leave Swansea City after Michael Laudrup agreed that the player needed to be playing more regularly in a World Cup year.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Wales for over a montha nd free spending Sunderland are favourites to complete a transfer for the midfielder. According to reports, the player has already said goodbye to his teammates at Swansea ahead of a transfer elsewhere.
The South Korean will join Sunderland on loan and the Black Cats have first option on a permanent transfer of £5 million at the end of this season.
