Arsenal winger Theo Walcott excited to see who joins the Gunners

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has admitted that he will be having his eyes on the television set just like any other Gunner fan ahead of the conclusion of the summer transfer window on Monday night, as per talkSPORT. 

Walcott told the media : "It's well documented we have got a very small squad but the boss knows what he's doing, he's a very clever man and I'm sure he's got something up his sleeve.


"You never know there might be some action tonight or tomorrow. I'm going to be glued to that TV tomorrow and tonight, it's going to be very exciting.


"We want to see players come in definitely but the quality is there and hopefully if we attract the odd players more players are going to come here. It's always quite difficult that it's always down to the lastminute.com"


Following the conclusion of Gareth Bale's much awaited switch to La Liga giants Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur, the Gunners boss could now have the opportunity to land one of the many players who could be termed as surplus by the Bernabeu outfit.


As per reports in Spain, the likes of Angel di Maria, Mesut Ozil and Karim Benzema are at the edge of leaving the Spanish outfit, should a concrete offer come for them by a club of high pedigree.
