Arsenal clinch Emiliano Viviano loan deal
Arsenal have announced that they have completed the transfer of Palermo goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano on a season long loan move.
Arsene Wenger is believed to be a long term admirer of the Italy international and Viviano's arrival will strengthen the Gunners' goalkeeping department. The 27 year old, who moved to Palermo in 2012 from Inter Milan, spent the last season on loan at Fiorentina earning himself 32 appearances.
The Arsenal manager told the club's official website: "Viviano is a player that we have rated for some time and we are very pleased to have signed him on loan.
"He's experienced and has proved himself at a high level, and provides us with excellent cover to our existing goalkeepers."
