Wayne Rooney has blasted those who have criticised him for a lack of commitment to Man Utd and declared himself fit and ready for this weekend's crunch match against Man City in the Premier League.
With some doubts over Rooney's long term future at Manchester United and his recent head injury that has kept him out of action, the striker has hit back at his critics.
"Some people seem to be questioning my commitment and the fact I had to pull out of the two games. I’m sure people will see the reason why I won’t be able to play. There’s nothing I would like more than to be helping the lads in the qualifiers," said Rooney.
