Galatasaray appoint Roberto Mancini as their new manager

Turkish club Galatasaray have reportedly appointed Roberto Mancini as their new manager.

According to TurkishFootball.com, the former Manchester City manager has signed for the Turkish giants on a three-year contract worth £4.6m per season, with additional bonuses which could see his total salary rise to £5m.

Galatasaray parted ways with their former boss Fatih Terim having had a fall-out with the Club president Unal Aysal, following a below-par start to the current season which included a 6-1 mauling at home by Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Mancini has been out of work, since his sacking after the FA Cup final defeat to Wigan Athletic as the Manchester City boss in May.
