Liverpool's Simon Mignolet praises striker duo

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has praised the performance of the Reds' forward duo of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

The praise came about after their partnership earned the Merseyside club a comfortable 3-1 victory over Sunderland in the Premier League on Sunday, with both Suarez and Sturridge getting on the scoresheet.


Mignolet told the club's official website : "Everybody has seen that they have got goals in them.


"They are a very good striking force; they have scored lots of goals and helped us win points. Hopefully we can keep that going."


Liverpool faceoff against Crystal Palace in their next Premier League encounter on Saturday.
