Zenit St Petersburg eyeing move for Liverpool's Martin Skrtel
Russian Premier League side Zenit St Petersburg are reportedly eyeing a move for Liverpool centre-back Martin Skrtel, when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 28-year-old Slovakian International has falled below the ranks following the signing of the likes of Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho during the summer transfer window, and manager Brendan Rodgers is willing to part ways with the player.
According to talkSPORT, Skrtel's former club are willing to add him to their ranks, as they look to strengthen their defensive setup following a poor show in the opening stages of the Champions League campaign.
Zenit would have to pay a transfer fee in the region of £16m to lure the talented centre-back to the club.
