Wolfsburg interested in Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne

Wolfsburg general manager Klaus Allofs has admitted that the club are interested in acquirng the services of Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne

The 22-year-old has struggled to secure a first-team place under manager Jose Mourinho, with reports suggesting that the player could be set to leave the Blues during the winter transfer window.


Having joined the West London outfit from Genk in 2012, the Belgian midfielder spent last season on loan with Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.


Allofs believes that the Bundesliga outfit are currently monitoring the status of the Belgian midfielder and would definitely considering making a move for his signature during the January transfer window.


De Bruyne has started just two Premier League games for the Blues so far this season.
