Arsenal to bid for Fernando Llorente in January?
Arsenal have been reportedly linked with a January move for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente, according to The Mirror.
The Gunners are currently short of options at the front, and manager Arsene Wenger looks set to spend a sufficient sum to acquire the services of the talented Spanish forward when the winter transfer window opens up in January.
Arsenal have had French International Olivier Giroud handling all the burden at the front since the start of the season, having had the likes of Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott injured in the early stages of their campaign, and Wenger is said to be seeking a suitable player to add to his striking department.
Llorente has failed to cement his place in the Juventus line-up since his move from Atletico Bilbao in the summer, having fallen behind Carlos Tevez in the pecking order, and it is expected that the Spaniard would gladly accept a switch to the Gunners if they were to come for his services.
