Galatasaray interested in Arsenal target Karim Benzema

Galatasaray manager Roberto Mancini will reportedly make an attempt to Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in the January transfer window.

Although the French international has notched up 4 goals in his 10 appearances for the Los Blancos this season, he has faced heavy criticism from the club's fans for his laziness in the field of play. 

Benzema has been linked with North London club Arsenal in recent weeks, but according to AS, Turkish giants Galatasaray are keen on acquiring the player's signature.

It is understood that manager Mancini is considering the talented French striker as a possible replacement for Burak Yilmaz, who looks likely to leave the club during the January transfer window.
