Ashley Young to be sold by Man Utd in January?

Manchester United are reportedly willing to allow the sale of Ashley Young and will listen to offers for the winger when the transfer window reopens in January.

The former Aston Villa star has fallen down the pecking order at the Red Devils, following the emergence of Belgian starlet Adnan Januzaj.

With the Premier League holders having the likes of Shinji Kagawa and Wilfried Zaha as capable recruits to operate in the wide areas, manager David Moyes considers the England International as surplus to his requirements.

Young has not featured for the Red Devils since their 4-1 thumping by Manchester City in the Premier League last month.
