Liverpool tracking Barcelona youngster David Babunski
Liverpool scouts are tracking Barcelona youngster David Babunski. The Macedonia international is currently playing for the Catalan side's 'B' team and has been with the Spanish side since 2006.
The Macedonian has been tipped for the first team squad in the near future but has so far failed to make the step up, despite some very impressive showings for the Spanish side's second string squad.
Liverpool have an excellent relationship with Barcelona and have already made a move to sign Luis Alberto back in August; leaving Brendan Rodgers' side confident that a deal can be agreed for the 19-year-old attacking midfielder in the January transfer window.
The player comes from a footballing family. Babunski's father is a former Macedonian international and is currently managing the national side's under-21 team whilst his brother Dorian plays in Real Madrid's reserve team.
