West Ham United eye swoop for Peterborough starlet

West Ham United are set to sign Peterborough youngster Jaanai Gordon after the player had a successful trial with the London club.

Manager Sam Allardyce is keen on adding few players to his striking department during the winter transfer window, and considers the 17  year old as one of his prime targets in January.


Gordon impressed in his trial for West Ham in an under 18 match, where he scored a brace against Aston Villa.


A number of clubs have been linked with the player's services, but the Hammers are considered favourites to sign the talented youngster.
