Barcelona confirm interest in Pepe Reina

Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu has revealed that the club are interested in acquiring the services of on-loan Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina next season, as a replacement for Victor Valdes

Reina, who is currently on a season-long loan at Napoli from Liverpool , has been  linked with a switch to the Catalan giants for the past few weeks and Bartomeu revealed that the club's higher officials are waiting for Valdes to make up on his future before making a move for Pepe Reina.


Valdes has previously mentioned of his desire to leave the La Liga giants next summer, with the likes of Manchester City and Monaco interested in acquiring his signature.
