Palace boss Tony Pulis keen on re-signing former player Mark Hudson

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is keen on acquiring the services of Cardiff City centre-back Mark Hudson during the winter transfer window, as he tries sure up his defence and aid the club in beating the drop.

The 31-year-old played a key part in the Bluebirds promotions to the top flight last term, but has failed to start a game this season. Ever since signing a contract extension, the former Cardiff captain has lost his place to summer signing Steven Caulker.

The Mirror reports that the Eagles boss Pulis, who was named Ian Holloway's successor last weekend, will try and lure the talented centre-back to Selhurst Park for a second stint.

Mark Hudson spent four seasons at Selhurst Park from 2004 to 2008.
