PSV Eindhoven in for Fulham target Zakaria Labyad
Fulham target Zakaria Labyad is currently in advanced talks with his former club PSV Eindhoven, according to reports in Portugal.
The 20-year-old Moroccan International has struggled to cement his place at Sporting Lisbon ever since his switch from the Philips Stadion last summer, having scored just three goals in 24 appearances.
Fulham manager Martin Jol is known to be a huge admirer of the youngster's talents, and has been linked with a January transfer for the player, as he aims to strengthen his fragile squad in order to secure the West London club's Premier League status for yet another season.
Portuguese newspaper Record claims that the Eredivisie outfit closing in on acquiring the player's services, despite the long-term interest from the Cottagers.
The Netherlands-born Moroccan international, started his footballing career with PSV Eindhoven in the club's youth academy in 2004.
