Ezequiel Lavezzi open to PSG transfer exit in January
Paris St. Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi is ready to quit the French club in January. The player is currently third choice striker behind Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and is actively seeking a transfer away from Ligue 1.
In the past, several Premier League teams have shown some interest in Lavezzi with Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham all amongst his potential suitors. Having endured a good start to life in France last season, he has slipped down the pecking order at Laurent Blanc's side and is now reportedly ready to quit the Parc Des Princes.
"I do not know. A player never knows exactly all these things," he responded, when asked about a potential transfer.
"But what I can tell you is that I wll do everything to change my situation in Paris because I did not give it my best shot and I do not want this to continue.
"I did not prepare myself well before the championship. And the fact that my level is not good is certainly linked to the fact that I’m a bit weak physically."
