Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov has admitted that he is open to a return to the Serie A, at some point of time in the future.

The 27-year-old Serbian International, who joined the Citizens from Italian outfit Lazio in 2010, has been associated with a switch to Juventus in recent weeks, with reports suggesting that his days at the Etihad could be limited.

However, the talented star has expressed that he is enjoying the Premier League atmosphere under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, and will be happy to ply his trade for the Citizens until his contract runs out.

"I have a contract with City until 2015 - I'm playing and I'm glad," He said. "Someday I'd like to go back to Italy, it will happen when the time is appropriate.

"I have never had contact with anyone in the past, and I am always focused on City. I'm putting in the work and I'm playing more now. We'll see what happens in the future."

Kolarov has made 17 appearances for the club in all competitions this term.
