Fulham ready move for Newcastle defender Ryan Taylor

Fulham are considering a transfer move for Newcastle United's out of favour defender Ryan Taylor. The centre back is frustrated that he is no longer an important part of Alan Pardew's first team.

The player, who controversially posted a picture on Twitter that has been labelled racist by some of the media, is unhappy that he is not guaranteed a first team place at St James' Park any longer and could be set to move elsewhere.The defender has been linked with a transfer to Rene Meulensteen's Fulham, as the Cottagers look to add a new centre back to shore up their defence ahead of the second half of the league season.
