Nick Powell set to be recalled by Man Utd

On-loan Wigan midfielder Nick Powell is likely to be recalled by his parent club Manchester United in January, such that he can secure a short-term loan spell with a Premier League club.

According to The Mirror, the attacking midfield star who has been in good form for the Latics since his loan move during the summer, is expected to be recalled by manager David Moyes, as the Scot wants to see how the youngster copes with Premier League football, with the likes of Crystal Palace, Stoke City and West Ham United interested in his signature.


Powell has scored 7 goals in 17 appearances for Wigan Athletic in all competitions this season.
