Liverpool eye move for Oldham youngster Tarkowski

Liverpool have been linked with a transfer move for Oldham's defensive starlet James Tarkowski. The 21-year-old has 18 months remaining on his current deal at Athletic.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been busy looking for new additions to add to his squad ahead of the New Year and has reportedly scouted Tarkowski over 8 times so far this season already. Everton are also believed to be in the race with their bitter rivals to land the highly prized 21 year old.


Oldham, though, are set to rebuff any move to sell the player as they are adamant that the youngster should continue his footballing development at his current club.
