Serie A duo in for Southampton's Gaston Ramirez

Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez will make his way out of the club during the winter transfer window, with the Saints reportedly opening up talks with two Serie A clubs over his sale.

The talented Uruguayan international has been told by manager Mauticio Pochettino that he can leave the club in the upcoming transfer window, in a bid to secure a regular first-team football spot, in order to earn a berth in the national side for next year's World Cup finals in Brazil.


According to talkSPORT, the Saints have started off talks with Inter Milan and Fiorentina over the player's transfer, but the club are only willing to allow the former Bologna star leave the South Coast club on a temporary basis.


Ramirez joined the Saints from Bologna for £12m in the 2012 summer transfer window.
