Liverpool prepare January bid for Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu

Liverpool are understood to be keen on strengthening the club's midfield setup by attempting to sign Udinese star Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu in January.

The Reds manager Brendan Rodgers has recently expressed his discontent over the squad's lack of depth in midfield, and the Metro claims that the Merseyside side club could make a move for the talented 23-year-old defensive midfielder.


Liverpool are expected to launch a bid in the region of £7m for the Ghanaian international's services, with the player keen on plying his trade in the World's elite football league sooner rather than later.


However, the Reds will have to fight off interest from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea for the player's signature.
