Solskjaer lands Cardiff City job
Cardiff City have appointed Norwegian manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their new coach. After lengthy talks with the Welsh club's board of directors and owner Vincent Tan, the former Man Utd striker has decided to make a move to the struggling club.
The Premier League side have been searching for a new coach since the sacking of Malky Mackay two weeks ago and have opted to recruit Solskjaer from Norwegian side Molde.
"It is a fantastic challenge. Cardiff are ready to take the next step up. I hope I can help them," said Solskjaer.
"I've always dreamt of being a manager in the Premier League and I'm delighted to get the opportunity."
