Tottenham Hotspur join race for Arsenal target Mirko Vucinic

Tottenham Hotspur have joined the race to acquire the services of Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic in the winter transfer window.
The new Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is keen on making a few signings of his own, as he aims to strengthen the attack front, with Jermain Defoe likely to leave the club for MLS outfit Toronto FC in the transfer window.
The departure of Jermain Defoe could tempt Spurs in securing the services of Mirko Vucinic, who has been linked with fellow rivals Arsenal in recent weeks.
The People reports that Vucinic is keen on finding a fresh challenge, and would welcome a switch to the Premier League in January.
Vucinic has scored a solitary goal in 7 appearances for Juventus this season.
