Chelsea plot £30m bid for Man Utd star Wayne Rooney?

Chelsea are reportedly considering making a bid worth £30m for the services of star striker Wayne Rooney from Manchester United during the January transfer window, according to The Mirror.

The talented England international has failed to have an agreement with the Red Devils over a new contract extension, and this is likely to tempt Blues boss Jose Mourinho in making the bid for the player.


Rooney's future at United looks bleak with only 18 months left in his contract, as the Red Devils are in danger of missing out in Champions League qualification next season.
