Madrid set to pay Suarez’s buyout clause
Real Madrid are prepared to pay the £70m release clause in Luis Suarez’s contract this summer.
The reds striker recently signed a reported £200,000-a-week deal with the premier league club but his agents ensured that a clause was included that allowed him to leave should the Reds fail to qualify for the Champions League.
Some reports suggest that the Merseyside club wanted the clause to be £100m but were told that the figure was too excessive.
The Uruguayan has had a mixed time in England where he has been excellent but has been banned in the last two seasons for racist comments and a biting incident.
