Aston Villa sign Grant Holt on loan

Aston Villa have successfully completed the signing of Wigan striker Grant Holt on loan for the rest of the season.

The 32-year-old English striker, who underwent a medical on Tuesday morning, signed for the Villans on temporary basis until the end of the campaign.


This wil be the second time Holt will be teaming up Villa manager Paul Lambert having worked with each other at Norwich City.


Holt has failed to impress with the Latics this season, having scored just 2 goals in 19 appearances for the club.
