Liverpool eye move for So'ton striker
Liverpool are reportedly preparing a move for Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez during the winter transfer window.
The speculation comes about following chairman Nicola Cortese's decision to resign from his role last night, which has left the future of a number of players at the South Coast club in doubt.
Club manager Mauricio Pochettino could as well make way from the club as he had earlier stated that he would quit the club, if Cortese was not part of the club's administration.
The Daily Star reports that Liverpool will try and lure the former Burnley forward to the club, with manager Brendan Rodgers keen on strengthening the club's attack-front this month.
Rodriguez has notched up ten goals in 25 appearances for the Saints this season.
