Kasper Schmeichel linked with AC Milan switch

Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has been linked with a surprise transfer to AC Milan. The Italian side are set to table a bid for the 27-year-old.

The Danish international has been inspirational this year for the Foxes and has already seen his club reject a flurry of offers for his services.

According to reports, Fulham and Sunderland are also in the race to bring the keeper to their respective clubs.

Schmeichel is being lined up as an eventual replacement for AC Milan's first choice keeper Christian Abbiati.
