Swansea City rebuff Fulham bid for Neil Taylor

Swansea City have apparently rejected a transfer offer from Fulham for the services of defender Neil Taylor during the winter transfer window.

Recent reports had revealed that Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen had made a move for the 24-year-old Welsh international, with the former Manchester United coach keen on strengthening the club's fragile defence this month.

However, according to BBC Sport, the Swans have turned down the the offer, as Michael Laudrup still considers Taylor as a part of his plans for the future.

Despite recovering from a long-term injury, Taylor has failed to cement his place in the starting line-up this season, following the emergence of Ben Davies.
