Preview: Boro vs Aston Villa

Villa lie eighth in the Premiership, whilst Middlesbrough need to get some points on the board.

Boro lie perilously two points off the relegation zone and could have their task made all the more difficult if Villa, as expected, are able to field the recovered striking duo of Luke Moore and Gabriel Agbonlahor.

Southgate meanwhile continues to sweat on the fitness of the injured trio of Mido, Fabio Rochemback and Julio Arca.

Gareth Southgate has recalled Adam Johnson from Watford where he has impressed for the Championship side.

Boro hope to have Jonathan Woodgate and Robert Huth back for the fixture.
