Preview: Bham vs Pmouth

Portsmouth are looking for their 75th league victory under Harry Redknapp, in the 75th Premier League fixture since his return to Fratton Park this week two years ago.

Harry Redknapp will be hoping to celebrate his 200th game in charge of Pompey with a win at St. Andrews tomorrow.

Birmingham are in a bit of turmoil at the moment with Steve Bruce going to Wigan and their run of form has been awful recently, apart from a home win against Bruce's future club.

Redknapp wary

"It's always a dangerous game when teams lose a manager. They can be dangerous opposition and they'll want to come out and prove a point, so they'll be up for it.

"The crowd will be right behind them. St Andrews is an intimidating place to go and they're good supporters, so it's going to be a tough game."

Stuart Parnaby, Damien Johnson and Borja Oubina are all ruled out by injury for Black.

Black: we must focus

"Everything that has surrounded us cannot be ignored, but what we have to do is focus totally on the Portsmouth game," he said.

"That's the only thing the players can affect. They cannot affect anything else. They have to remain professional.

"I have told them that it's their duty to be professional for the club and as long as I'm in this position then I will not accept them using all this as an excuse."

Birmingham 1-1 Portsmouth

Birmingham will be looking to pick up a point at least against an impressive Portsmouth side. One point will be enough for Eric Black - who is in temporary charge - to be happy with the result.
