Man City rule out move for Victor Valdes

Man City manager Manuel Pellegrini has ruled out a free transfer move for Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes at the end of the season.The Spain international's contract will come to an end at the Nou Camp in June and reports suggest that Monaco is his likely destination.

However, that hasn't stopped some media outlets linking Valdes with a move to Manchester. Despite the reports, it is understood that Manuel Pellegrini is happy with his current crop of keepers and will keep the faith in Joe Hart, thus ruling out a move for Valdes.
