Arsenal end Diego Costa pursuit
Arsenal have apparently abandoned their pursuit of Atletico Madrid's Brazilian striker Diego Costa, amidst lukewarm reports from chief scout Steve Rowley.
According to Goal, the Gunners who were having a keen eye on the talented hitman since the start of the year, have ended their chase with manager Arsene Wenger having received a less-than-impressive report from the scouting network on the Brazilian-born player.
It is understood that chief scout Steve Rowley has indicated that Costa would not be a suitable option for the North London outfit, as he may be unable to cope with the Gunners' style of play.
Costa, whose current deal at Vicente Calderon expires in 2018, has also been linked with a summer move to London rivals Chelsea.
