Chelsea line up move for Marseille midfielder

Chelsea are understood to be plotting a summer swoop for Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula as a possible replacement for John Obi Mikel.

According to RMC, the Blues boss Jose Mourinho has been impressed by the 21-year-old's performances in the Ligue 1 this season, and is contemplating over a move for the player in the summer, with Nigerian international John Obi Mikel likely to leave the West London outfit at the end of the season.



The reports also reveals that Marseille are open to the sale of Imbula, should the Blues meet the player's valuation during the summer transfer window.
