Liverpool tracking Martin Hinteregger

Liverpool are believed to be monitoring the progress of Red Bull Salzburg defender Martin Hinteregger, with a view to a summer offer for his services.
According to The Guardian, the Reds manager Brendan Rodgers had sent scouts to watch the talented 21-year-old centre-back in action for his country Austria against Uruguay in an international friendly.
The reports received has been positive, with his physicality and composure on the ball being the main aspect impressing those tracking him.
However, Liverpool would have to face stiff competition from league rivals Arsenal, who are also said to be interested in the player's services.
