Tottenham to bid for James Milner

Tottenham are reportedly seeking a transfer move that will bring Manchester City midfielder James Milner to White Hart Lane. The England international is no longer a first choice player under manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Milner played some part in yesterday's defeat to Wigan in the FA Cup but has unfortunately found his role in City's side this season to be limited to appearances off of the bench as opposed to regular action.

Spurs are planning a major restructure in the summer and Tim Sherwood is a massive fan of the midfield maestro and will make a bid of around 7.5 million GBP to secure the player's signature.
