Real Madrid to sign Chelsea defender?

Real Madrid will reportedly make a move to sign Chelsea defender Ashley Cole on a two-year deal, after his contracts expires in the summer.

The People claims that the veteran left-back is set to leave the Blues at the end of the season, with manager Jose Mourinho not considering the England international to be part of his plans for the future.

 

It is understood that the West London outfit will make a move for Sevilla's Alberto Moreno during the summer, and this will offer Cole a chance to switch to the Bernanbeu.

 

Cole could have an option of extending the deal with Los Blancos by a year, should he make certain number of appearances during 2015-16 season.
