Chelsea flop talks up summer exit
Chelsea 's Senegalese forward Demba Ba has expressed his desire to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
The talented striker has failed to cement his place in the first-team this season under manager Jose Mourinho, with Fernando Torres and summer signing Samuel Eto'o picked ahead of him in the pecking order.
Ba has now suggested that he will look at the possibility of plying his trade for a new club next season, with his representative having made contact with several clubs over a transfer.
“My agent has spoken to the club about a departure and he has started speaking with other clubs about a contract for next season,” The 28-year-old said.“I hope we can find the best option possible. I’d like to stay in England. I like other leagues, too. I’d like to try the Italian league."
Demba Ba has scored just 5 goals in 28 league games for the Blues, since his switch from Newcastle United in January 2013.
