Arsenal tracking Everton's John Stones?

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Everton defender John Stones, with a view to a summer offer for his services.

 

The 19-year-old had been closely tracked by the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger when he was at Championship side Barnsley, before he made the switch to the Toffees last year.

 

The Metro claims that the North London outfit will keep a close eye on the player's performances for the rest of the current campaign. 

 

Stones has been in excellent form for the Toffees since he replaced injured captain Phil Jagielka for the central defensive role.

 

Everton are currently 5th in the Premier League.
