Chelsea line up move for Ezequiel Lavezzi

Chelsea are reportedly readying a mega transfer offer for Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi in the summer, according to The Mirror.

The Blues Jose Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to add top-class recruits in the striking department this summer, with the likes of Demba Ba, Fernando Torres and Samuel Eto'o expected to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.

 

The Mirror claims that the Blues will make a bid in the region of £40m for the services of Les Parisiens forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, who is keeping his options open for the summer.

 

Chelsea are currently 2nd in the Premier League, two points adrift of leaders Liverpool.
