Luke Shaw closing in on Man Utd switch?

Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a deal for Southampton left-back Luke Shaw, according to The Daily Mail.

The report claims that the Red Devils boss David Moyes looks set to allow veteran defender Patrice Evra leave the club in the summer, and considers Shaw as one of his top targets for the role.

 

The 18-year-old has been in top form all season for the Saints, and was linked with a summer move to Chelsea. However, the lack of regular first-team football at the Blues could tempt him into making the switch to the Mancunian giants come the summer transfer window.

 

Shaw has made 34 appearances for the Saints in all competitions this season.
