AC Milan striker linked with Spurs switch

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for AC Milan forward Alessandro Matri, according to a report.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims that Massimiliano Allegri looks set to be the next manager at Spurs and has plans of bringing several Serie A players to White Hart Lane.

 

Matri looks to be one of the first names on a list which also includes Cagliari’s Davide Astori, as well as Fiorentina duo of Mario Gomez and Giuseppe Rossi.

 

The former Juve forward enjoyed some of his best years under Allegri at Cagliari and could likely be reunited with the talented manager come next season at the North London club.
