Man City in advanced talks to sign Porto star

Manchester City are reportedly closing in on the signing of Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala, according to a report.

The former Premier League champions are considering as front-runners to sign up the 23-year-old this summer, following a failed bid for his services in the January transfer window.

 

According to The Telegraph, the Citizens are in advanced negotiations with Porto over the transfer of Mangala to the club at the end of the season. Adding to this, City are also keen on signing up midfielder Fernando from the Primeira Liga giants.

City are currently 3rd in the Premier League, with a game in hand over league leaders Liverpool.
