Arsenal to move for Mario Gotze?

Arsenal are apparently pondering over a move for Bayern Munich midfield sensation Mario Gotze this summer, according to The Mirror.

Gotze, who joined the Bavarian giants from Borussia Dortmund last summer, has failed to live up to his expectations, and is now considered to be unsettled at the club.

 

The Mirror claims that Gotze is likely to place a transfer request in the summer, and the Gunners, who have been tracking the German international for the past few seasons, could lure him to the Emirates with the chance of playing regular first-team football. 

 

The Gunners will have a transfer kitty of around £80m to spend on players in the upcoming transfer window.
